Black Cat Restaurant was founded on the "Corner Bar Theory" which promotes a home-style atmosphere and friendly service. The casual dining atmosphere makes you feel at home whether you are dining alone or with several friends.
Chris and Renee (Rowlands) Basile have 35 plus years in the restaurant business. As owners of Black Cat Restaurant for 10 years, we are excited for the next decade.
Recipes from Chris's grandmother "Fanny" who was the owner of the popular Basile's Restaurant in East Utica are used today. The menu features something for everyone; the Vegetarian, the Burger/Steak lover, or the Salad lover.
We pride ourselves on fresh homemade soups, lunches, and dinners with generous portions. Some chef specials such as: Basile Tenderloin Steak Sandwich, Fresh Angus Burgers with various toppings and cooked to order have become signature dishes over the past 10 years.
We feature a few delicious dinners such as Shrimp Scampi, Homemade Lasagna, Haddock Fish Fry on Fridays. Riggies, Pasta-n-Peas and Fried Bologna with sweet peppers.
In the summer we have patio seating with live entertainment.
